Harry Potter and the Revenge of the Sith

Sometimes it seems Harry Potter is everywhere, you can’t get away from it.

For example, today, in reviews for Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith. The very last scene in the movie, when the wise Obi-Wan Kenobi brings baby Luke to Tatooine to live with his Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru, is being called by reviewers as the “Harry Potter scene”, because of the first scene in the first Harry Potter book, when the wise Albus Dumbledore brings baby Harry to Privet Drive to live with his Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia.

Ironically, in the past when fans have asked J.K. Rowling if it turns out that Lord Voldemort is really Harry’s father, J.K. has replied, “You’ve been watching too much Star Wars!”

This all reminds me of a very humorous comparison someone did several years ago between Harry Potter and Star Wars, you can see it here.
