Rumor: Rupert Grint up for New Movie Version of Tintin

Two directors are currently planning on making films out of the legendary Belgian comic book adventurer Tintin, created by Herg.

While Roman Polanski is reportedly working on a version in Europe, Steven Speilberg is also planning a Tintin movie series. Hollywood insiders are now saying that Rupert Grint, currently Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter movies, is being sought to be featured in Steven Speilberg’s Tintin.

The latest sources say Speilberg’s series might start with a story called The Blue Lotus, although other reports mention Red Rackham’s Treasure, and The Secret of the Unicorn.
