Lord of the Rings actor Viggo Mortensen is keen to start work on a new Hollywood film soon, because his money’s running out.
Despite starring as hero Aragorn in the record-breaking trilogy, the 45-year-old is finding times tough.
But Mortensen refuses to sign up for any old rubbish and has thrown out loads of scripts because they’re “cliched, uninteresting rehashes” or “exploitation”.
The 45-year-old says, “We stopped shooting Lord of the Rings a long time ago and most of what I’ve done for the past year has been talking about making movies, but I don’t get any money just for talking.”
